Chainwire is Australia’s most common and economic solution for boundary security fencing. It comes in a broad range of configuration permutations dependent on the purpose or solution required.

Mesh Heights:

• 1200
• 1500
• 1800
• 2100
• 2400
• 2700
• 3000

These heights can be extended with the inclusion of centre rails.

Mesh Finish Types:

• Galvanised
• PVC – black
• PVC – green

Mesh Sizes

• 2.55mm wire
• 3.15mm wire (Heavy Duty)

Chain link mesh is manufactured in a number of different diamond sizes ranging from a pitch of 32mm to a pitch of 50mm. The diamond size varies according to the application – the smaller the pitch of the diamond then the stronger the chain link fabric. Chainwire mesh can be finished at the top and bottom in the following combinations.

Fences can be built with any combination of top, bottom and middle rails or alternatively no rails.

For additional security purposes the following is often added to the top of the fence:

• Cranked posts
• Double cranked posts
• Barbed wire
• Razor wire (Tiger tape)

There are also a multitude of steel post specification and sizes however we typically build our chainwire fences to meet AS2712.1.
