Derek Nicholson

Derek commenced his career as a cadet valuer with Jones Lang Wootton. Following 4 years in Brisbane he transferred to Hong Kong and then South Africa where he spent a total of 6 years working in commercial property acquisitions and sales with funds manager and property company JHI Group.

Upon returning to Brisbane he spent over 10 years in senior Executive roles in Lend Lease ( Construction & Development) and then a number of years at Niecon Developments before forming his own business Jonic Properties.   He was founder and developer of what is still one of Australia’s largest and leading retirement villages, Seachange Gold Coast which he subsequently sold to Pradella Group.   He is also responsible for numerous medium rise apartment projects throughout Brisbane’s inner North.

Andrew Kerr

Andrew has been in the commercial construction industry for over twenty years.  Commencing as a Construction Management Graduate he has enjoyed many roles in Contracts Administration, Site Supervision and Site Management with well-known companies such as Watpac, Matrix and Lend Lease before moving to Dubai and taking on the role as Commercial Manager for Sunland Group’s Versace Hotel.

Upon his return to Brisbane he re-joined Lend Lease as a Project manager and spent the following 12 years running major projects such as Gold Coast Hospital, Sunshine Coast Hospital and undertaking the role of Lend Lease’s Queensland Operation Manager.

Andrew is a highly experienced operator in all facets and tiers of commercial construction.
