Manufacturing Process

Our expert staff and manufacturing process ensure the product you receive truly is superior. Every order taken is custom made using the latest technology. Each post, panel and gate is pre-treated and powder coated (if required), before being wrapped in bubble wrap, ready for delivery to anywhere in Australia.

Panel Preparation

Depending on the materials used in the fence or gate, our pre-treatment process varies. Below is an outline of the processes used, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Pre Gal & Powder Coat

Galvabond tube is manufactured from pre galvanised steel strip which is galvabonded on both surfaces. It is cold rolled and resistance welded. This is subsequently repaired to match the gal finish. The tube is fashioned into the style required and spot welded with low penetration silicon bronze alloy. The fence panel is put through a 4 stage zinc phosphate and powder of the desired colour is electrostatically applied. The panel is then oven cured.

Advantage:
• High quality finish
• Low lead times
• Medium corrosion resistance (500 hrs salt spray) (ASTMB117-73-Passed)
• Economical

Disadvantage
• Medium term resistance to chemicals and fertilizers
